Nebraska Acoustics Group :
The University of Nebraska Acoustics Group (NAG) is comprised of
faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students in the Architectural
Engineering Program at the University of Nebraska. The group is led
by Dr. Lily
M. Wang. The members of this group have a strong interest in architectural
acoustics, including room acoustics, noise control, and vibration
control.
The Nebraska Acoustics Group meets every other week for Acoustic Group
Meetings (AGM). During these meetings, the group usually discusses
upcoming acoustics conferences, performances in the Omaha area, and
other items of interest. Additionally, each AGM includes a presentation
from one of the Nebraska Acoustic Group members. These presentations
focus on the acoustics research being conducted at the University
of Nebraska, or on pertinent equipment, methodologies, or recent journal
papers dealing with architectural acoustics.
